Chateauneuf du Pape Rouge Domaine de la Graveirette 2020

The Chateauneuf Du Pape Rouge from Domaine de la Graveirette is an impressive wine produced by an iconic biodynamic winery in the area, on the edge of the Plateau de la Crau. It is almost pure Grenache, with about a tenth of the blend dedicated to Syrah, which adds colour and spicy notes. The nose reveals red fruit and dark spices, with a touch of Mediterranean scrub and a very peppery finish. On the palate, it is warm and enveloping, with silky tannins and a savoury vein.
