Ca' del Bosco
Ca' del Bosco is a reference name of Franciacorta and of the Italian production of high-level sparkling wines, a symbol of excellence made in Italy that has become a status symbol for more than one generation. Its story begins in the mid-1960s, when Annamaria Clementi purchased a small country house in Erbusco locally called "Ca' del bosc". A few years later, her son Maurizio Zanella, returning from a trip to Champagne, had a brilliant insight: to transform that small house immersed in a chestnut forest into one of the most modern advanced wineries in the area.
The story of the Ca' del Bosco winery is the plot of a dream that became reality day after day, thanks to hard work and a constant and tireless search for quality. Thanks to its extraordinary success, this productive reality has seen its vineyard heritage expand and has extended its vineyards across 8 different municipalities of the Franciacorta. Old pergola-trained systems alternate with more modern and productive systems, depending on the characteristics of the land. A management based on increasingly sustainable practices has led this wonderful winery to undertake the organic conversion of several plots. In the winery, it is even possible to visit an area dedicated to art and sculpture, strongly desired by Maurizio Zanella, who believes that the union between oenology and artistic research could create a magical circle and a continuous source of inspiration.
The sparkling wines of Ca' del Bosco, with their character and their elegant personality, are the protagonists of this success. The style that distinguishes them is exuberant and unmistakable, played on the fullness of the fruit, on deep and juicy aromas, and on measured and skillful dosages. From the famous "Cuvée Prestige", which has become a symbol of elegance and quality, to the reserves named after the matriarch Annamaria Clementi, passing through the vintage sparkling wines and theelegant still wines, among which the Chardonnay stands out for its importance, this production represents that great Italian oenological miracle that bears the name of Franciacorta Ca' del Bosco.
