The red wine "Francesca Romana" is born in the Grosseto Maremma from a blend of international red grape varieties, aged for 18 months in barrels. The tasting is intense and engaging, thanks to hints of berries, red flowers, spices, balsamic herbs and a soft, warm sip, with good freshness and round tannins

“Francesca Romana” is a true homage that the Terenzi winery pays to the international grape varieties grown in the terroir of Grosseto. We are indeed facing a blend where Sauvignon, Merlot, and Petit Verdot come together in similar percentages, giving rise to a bottle of character that engages the nose and mouth in a tasting of concentrated aromas and flavors. This label clearly showcases an international flair, promising to surprise even in the years to come.

This “Francesca Romana” by Terenzi is a Tuscan red that originates from the vines of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Petit Verdot, all cultivated using the spurred cordon system. We find ourselves in parcels characterized by very poor calcareous sands, perfectly exposed to the sun's rays. The bunches, after harvesting, are destemmed, with a partial breaking of the berries, and then pressing takes place. The must then ferments at a controlled temperature, between 28 and 30 degrees, in stainless steel containers for 15 days, also naturally undergoing malolactic fermentation. The final aging takes takes place for 18 months in French oak barriques, until the wine is bottled and marketed.

The wine “Francesca Romana” by Terenzi presents itself to the eye with a bright ruby red color, crossed by some reflections that tend more towards purple. The aromas enveloping the nose are primarily fruity, then tinged with more Mediterranean notes and floral hints. On the palate, it has a good body and a enveloping sip, from which a fruity taste emerges, well harmonized in each of the organoleptic components. A bottle that offers an excellent quality-price ratio, which pairs well with cured meats, pasta dishes filled with meat, and preferably grilled second courses.
