Riesling 'Sophie' Schaal 2024

Sophie Schaal's Riesling is a refined version of this grape variety. It is produced in the south of Alsace, with organic farming, on clay soils that retain water, allowing for a slow and balanced maturation of the grapes. The wine has a very expressive aromatic profile that ranges from hints of tropical fruit, lime zest, and flint on the finish. The sip is taut, very long, with a persistent saline trail and marked freshness. Perfect paired with fish-based appetizers, such as a salmon carpaccio with citrus and dill.
