Sangiovese Superiore Tenuta Santodeno 2023

The Sangiovese Superiore Romagna by Tenuta Santodeno is an intense and juicy red, a typical expression of the territory. Produced in the Forlivesi Hills from Sangiovese grapes, with part of the bunches left to overripen on the vine and aged in 25 hectoliter French oak barrels. The brilliant red color introduces aromas of cherry but the bouquet evolves into darker notes of plum and licorice. On the palate, it is juicy, warm, and soft, with sweet tannins and a persistent finish. Perfect with the great handmade pasta dishes typical of the area.
