Hervé Souhaut's Syrah 'Clos de Cessieux' is a fine red from one of the winery's most distinguished plots. A pure Syrah, the 30-year-old vines grow on granite soils that lend finesse. From the glass emerge dark hints of black fruits, black pepper and intirgant, typical hints reminiscent of barbecue sauce. In the mouth, it reveals a complex, structured yet silky mouthfeel with great flavour. Perfect with red meats and mature cheeses, ideal with a rib-eye steak with Provençal herbs
