The White 'Maria Pettena' by Cantina Sannas is a unique wine: the red grapes are vinified without skins and then macerated on the white grapes of native vines, an experimental method that combines tradition and innovation. The result is a full-bodied orange wine with a distinct Mediterranean character, revealing hints of Mediterranean scrub, citrus fruits and honey. On the palate, it is very fresh, distinctly savoury and with delicate tannins.
