La Casaccia di Franceschi's Cabernet Franc 'San Leopoldo' is part of the 'international' line of this historic Montalcino winery. The grapes are grown and harvested in the Grossetano area, where the winery manages soils suited and ideal for these varieties. Vinification in temperature-controlled stainless steel and then maturation in barriques results in a fresh wine of great elegance. Hints of red and black fruits present tertiary hints of cocoa on the finish. On the palate it is balsamic and with great structure, iI sip develops vertically with great elegance
