Coteaux Bourguignons 'L'Eclos des Abeilles' Domaine de Bellene 2023

Domaine de Bellene’s Coteaux Bourguignons “L’Éclos des Abeilles” is a white wine made from 100% Chardonnay grapes grown in the heart of the Côte de Nuits. The grapes come from three distinct plots that benefit from particularly favourable exposure and climatic conditions. Fermentation takes place spontaneously in stainless steel tanks, whilst ageing in oak lasts for around a year. On the nose, it opens with hints of sweet spices such as vanilla, yellow-fleshed fruit, vegetal notes of sage and delicate buttery undertones on the finish. On the palate, it is enveloping, underpinned by a lively freshness and a mineral finish that lengthens the mouthfeel. Excellent paired with the traditional ‘volaille de Bresse à la crème’
