Gavi di Gavi "Bruno Broglia" is a unique expression of the Piedmontese Cortese, a reference point of the typology. It is vinified and aged in steel only, thus releasing all its typical and delicate hints of white fruit and wildflowers. The taste is delicate, fresh and elegant, there is no lack of softness and body
The Gavi di Gavi by Bruno Broglia is one of the most representative of the whole denomination; port on the label the name of La Meirana, an Estate inextricably linked to the history of the Gavi. A seal that has ties to the Gavi since 971, as witnessed by a number of documents stored at the State Archives of Genoa. Even then, the estate's vineyards were Meirana. Bruno Broglia decided to continue in a long tradition of ultra thousand years that, today, is being pursued with commitment and passion by his sons Gian Piero and Paolo. The Gavi di Gavi by Bruno Broglia is the flagship product of the company located in Locality Lomellina; this wine comes from vineyards at 300-350, facing south, on a limestone-marl soil. It’s a Gavi vinified entirely in stainless which comes in a glass with a nice aromatic richness; a fine bouquet of white fruits and yellow that gives us a remarkable persistence. On the palate fruity, with ripe apple and overlooking towers, are accompanied by a chalky minerality that shows untamed with a savory finish that surprising.
