Fattoria Mani di Luna’s ‘Gre Glu’ Grechetto Frizzante embodies the desire to transform the fresh, crisp Grechetto into a wine of extreme delicacy. Just like in the fairy tale of the princess and the frog, this wine elevates the character of this grape variety to a new, gentle elegance. The grapes come from the old ‘Il Baratto’ vineyard, a historic plot planted in 1975, and are harvested slightly early to ensure a lighter mouthfeel. The nose opens with notes of apple and candied orange, followed by hints of mandarin and bread crust. On the palate, the wine is delicate and mineral with a fine effervescence. This refermented wine is ideally paired with Umbrian torta al testo and local cured meats
