With a light yet intriguing minerality in the form of flint aromas, it maintains a sip of excellent consistency, accompanied by an interesting savory component that classifies it as a "maritime" wine.
The “Labianca” by Lunae Bosoni is a harmonious and seductive white wine, produced in the eastern edge of Liguria, towards the border with Tuscany. It is a balanced blend of white grape varieties historically present in the area, creating a blend with a slightly aromatic profile, very pleasant and captivating. It is a wine that pairs splendidly with the local seafood cuisine.
The white “Labianca” originates in the heart of the beautiful Lunigiana region, a strip of land nestled between the Ligurian Sea and the mountains. The Lunae Bosoni winery cultivates its vineyards in the area of the Colli di Luni, from the flat area south of the Magra River, up to the first foothills of the Apuane Alps, in the province of La Spezia. The grapes of Vermentino, Albarola, Greco, and Malvasia come from vineyards located in the municipalities of Castelnuovo Magra and Ortonovo, on stony soils rich in skeleton. The vines have an average age of about 30 years and are trained in Guyot, with a planting density of 4000 vines per hectare. After the harvest, the grapes are sent for fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine always matures in steel for 4 months, before being bottled for sale.
“Labianca” is a typically territorial expression, reflecting the unique characteristics of the local grape varieties, combined with the marine and iodine notes of the Ligurian terroir. The color is an intense and bright straw yellow. The olfactory profile opens up to aromas of aromatic herbs from the Mediterranean scrub, ripe fruit aromas, tropical hints, mineral sensations, and slight nuances of flint. On the palate, it has a good body, is harmonious, and expresses a perfect balance between juicy fruit and a pleasant final freshness, which concludes with savory sensations.
