Bavencoff's Macon Villages is a southern Burgundy white of good body and intensity. It matures only in steel but malolactic fermentation and matures on fine lees so as to retain freshness but develop complexity and roundness. A floral profile dominates the nose, with citrus and balsamic hints on the finish. The palate is full-bodied and smooth, with a balanced, balsamic finish.
