The "Noi" from San Patrignano is a red wine from Romagna with a full and fleshy profile, obtained from a blend of Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot. Aged for 12 months in barriques, it reveals a pleasant bouquet of ripe red fruits, plum, and cherry in spirit, cinnamon, and tobacco. The sip is harmonious, enveloping, and long, with pleasant tannins.

“Noi” from San Patrignano is a fruity and rich red, which well expresses the generous and sunny character of the Romagna lands. It is the result of a social project carried out by the young people hosted by the San Patrignano rehabilitation community, who, through work in the vineyard and winery, resume their life journey and train professionally to prepare for their future. It is a blend made with the flagship grape of the territory, the Sangiovese of Romagna, and with Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, two international varieties that have adapted very well to the Romagna hills. The well-balanced wood aging preserves the typical characteristics of the grapes, enriched by elegant notes of tertiary evolution.

The red “Noi” is born on the hills of Rimini, where San Patrignano manages an estate of over 100 hectares. The vineyards are located at an altitude of about 200 meters above sea level, in the hilly area between the coast and the first slopes of Mount Titano. The climate is mild and very sunny, always ventilated, thanks to the presence of the sea breezes. The soils are predominantly clay-based with a good presence of limestone, particularly suitable for the cultivation of red berry varieties. The grapes of Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot are harvested from mid-September to the end of October. The fermentations take place at controlled temperatures in stainless steel tanks, with a maceration period on the skins of a few weeks. The wine ages for a year in second-passage oak barriques and refines in the bottle for another 12 months.

The wine “Noi” San Patrignano, from its name, highlights its choral nature, both regarding the production by a community of young people and for the blend of three different complementary grape varieties that harmoniously marry together. In the glass, it presents a beautiful dark ruby red with slight garnet reflections. The olfactory profile is rich and intense, with fruity aromas of ripe cherry, wild blackberry, blackcurrant, hints of underbrush, leather, tobacco, and licorice. On the palate, it reveals a good structure, with elegant and mature tannins, a juicy fruit, and a pleasantly fresh and lively finish.
