Pecorino d'Abruzzo 'Canaglia' Fontefico 2025

The Pecorino d'Abruzzo Superiore 'Canaglia' by Fontefico is produced with grapes from the only vineyard Vignabianca, a capricious and difficult plot to work, because it has very low yields, hence the fanciful name of the wine. On the nose, it is invigorating, opening with balsamic hints of mint and vegetal notes of aromatic herbs, with an unexpected almond finish. On the palate, the sip is decisive and vertical, with a clear freshness and high saltiness. In pairing, it is very versatile, perfect for an aperitif or even with fish-based first courses.
