Valtellina Superiore Sassella "San Lorenzo" by Mamete Prevostini is an elegant and structured red Valtellina wine made from Nebbiolo grapes, locally called Chiavennasca, which ages for 16 months in oak barrels. It shows an intense ruby red with garnet reflections and expresses to the nose notes of wild berries such as raspberries and currants, sweet and enveloping spices with balsamic puffs.
