The Verdeca "Talò" by the winery San Marzano from Puglia is a white wine that with just one sip recalls the summer and the warm and Mediterranean atmosphere of Salento. The vineyards are situated at 100 metres above sea level on shallow soils. After a short cold maceration, the grapes are refined for 3 months in French oak barriques. The glass is filled with a straw-yellow mantle with golden reflections and the nose is intoxicated with scents of white flowers and vanilla. The taste is fresh, mineral and savoury with a pleasant finish
