Col del Sas - Spagnol
Historic owner of a vineyard in the Col del Sas hill, the Spagnol family has been producing wine for four generations and now it is considered as an important institution in the area of Conegliano Valdobbiadene, as a symbol of the quality of Prosecco. Since the early years of the twentieth century the Spagnol has been produced Prosecco for a restauarnt, until Orazio Spagnol began, in 1986, to produce sparkling wine and bottling it on his own.
The vineyards of the Spagnol family are now distributed in several towns in the territory of Conegliano Valdobbiadene: next to the vineyard that gave his name to the corporate brand, the most important properties are in Solighetto , San Pietro di Felletto , Vidor and Collalto. Alberto, Orazio’s son, works in the vineyard with pride and passion, attentive to the preservation of biodiversity. Stefano e Marco, the other two brothers, both oenologists, works in cellar with care and expertise.
