Feudi di Romans
Feudi di Romans is among the most symbolic and famous wineries of Friuli Isonzo. It all started from the project of Severino Lorenzon who in the early fifties decided to invest heavily in the potential of this land, which at the time was abandoned and mistreated. Severino realized that the Isonzo, the most symbolic river of Friuli and the liquid memory of the history of the place, made this territory particularly fertile and therefore suitable for cultivation. Initially considered crazy, his intuition proved to be a great success in the following years. From about 5 hectares, the estate gradually expanded to reach the current 120 hectares (90 planted), becoming one of the reference points of the entire Friulian landscape. Enzo, Severino's son, still manages the estate, assisted by his sons Davide and Nicola. The production focuses on quality wines that tell the whole story of this fascinating territory, shaped for years by the flow of the emerald and historic Isonzo river.
