Terra Costantino

Terra Costantino is located in a decidedly fascinating part of Sicily. We find ourselves in the midst of the DOC Etna, on the southeast slope of the great volcano, more precisely within the Blandano district, from which one can admire the Ionian Sea immersed in an almost surreal landscape. A terroir where wine is at home, so much so that there are testimonies of the presence of the vine since the time of the Greeks and Romans. The winery was founded in 1978 by Dino, eager to enhance these lands, aware that Sicilian viticulture, through adjustments and innovations, could represent something new in the national wine scene. No vision was more accurate, and today, Dino is joined by his son Fabio in taking on new stimulating challenges, aiming to make the company's wines known to connoisseurs and enthusiasts around the world. An objective already partially achieved, as evidenced by the excellent scores obtained internationally.

The vineyards of Terra Costantino stretch over about 10 hectares of land, all included within the ever more famous denomination of Etna, at a variable altitude of 450 to 550 meters above sea level, on soils of clear volcanic composition. Within the vineyards, characterized by sea breezes and a climate with excellent temperature excursions between day and night, only indigenous grape varieties are grown, both white and red, such as Nerello Mascalese, Nerello Cappuccio, Carricante, Catarratto, and Minella. Extreme attention is paid to the protection of the environment and the surrounding nature, and it has therefore been chosen to work following organic farming criteria, with certified practices.

Terra Costantino is a family-run winery that truly believes in the potential of the Etna terroir. Every phase of the production chain is cared for with the utmost effort, creating a range of identity products, where sun, sea, and Mediterranean scrub intertwine with marvelous sensations and flavors. Five labels are born under the watchful eye of Fabio and Dino, where the line “De Aetna”, available in white, red, and rosé versions, represents a comprehensive image of what the Etna territory can offer.
